First day in Dubai and I am awestruck. Riding through downtown Dubai seems to be the best way to start our Dubai holiday. With icons like the world-famous Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall and Dubai Fountain, Downtown Dubai has plenty of wow-factor for visitors. This is just a peek into what lay ahead of us in the coming days and my excitement is at its peaks.
Day 0: I arrived at Dubai at 9 in the night and went straight to my friends house.
Day 1: Waited till my covid test results came back negative to go out. First we went to Deira city center to buy a GoPro. In Sharaf DG they suggested I go for a vlogging camera instead. So my plan to buy an Iphone 11 and Gopro was cancelled.
We drove around downtown awestruck by the lights and the magnitude of buildings. Couldn’t stop us from getting down from car to watch the waterfall cascade at Sheikh Zayed Bridge.
Had dinner at Jumeriah and went to Pointe. Pointe is another mall but here we have the worlds tallest water fall. This is something you should not miss when you are in Dubai.
This city is vibrant even in the late hours and malls are open till 1 in the night. This gives us so much more time to explore.
This is just a peek into what lay ahead of us in the coming days.
